How to Use a Safelist Tutorial
What is a Safelist?
Basically, a safelist is a free advertising tool. You will have the ability to email a list of people who joined the safelist. In return, you agree to receive emails as well. Safelist consist of a “double opt in” e-mailing list so you are sure that you are not sending a spam or unsolicited email. All people who are on the list have agreed to accept email ads from the other safelist members.
Most safelists are free to join. They have paid options if you want to maximize the number of people that you want to reach. Most of them also give generous referral commissions on membership upgrades and advertising purchases. Personally, I use credit based safelist. This simply means that you needs credits to send an email. 1 credit means 1 person emailed.
What Do You Need for a Safelist?
You need at least two email accounts to join a Safelist. One email serves as a contact email and the other as a list email. The owner of the safelist usually send admin emails and solo ads to your contact lists. The list email is usually for receiving regular emails. Most safelist recommends Gmail Email accounts to ensure higher deliverability. It is important to sign up for new Gmail email accounts as you will be flooded with hundreds or even thousands of email each day.
Safelist advertising is a free or very low cost way to increase your web traffic and profit.
