Sydney Fireworks NYE 2013 Video: Happy 2013!

The Sydney NYE 2013 Fireworks was such a huge spectacle for Sydneysiders like us. Sydney is one of the major cities in the world that welcome the New Year of 2013 with such amazing fireworks displays. The Sydney NYE Fireworks  2013 is the second major fireworks to be lit up just next to Auckland, New Zealand, the first city in world to showcase their fireworks display at their iconic Auckland Skytower.

We chose Blue’s Point, North Sydney. It’s one of the perfect spots or vantage points to watch the main Sydney Fireworks at the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Iconic Sydney Opera House. It was a long wait. Sitting there for hours to reserve our spot. Definitely a beautiful day with tens of thousands of people around us. The crowd was well behaved. The only annoying thing was people who wanted to squeeze on the front to get videos on their cameras and mobile phones. They are so inconsiderate of others who were sitting patiently at the back. Blame it on technology. For us, we just enjoyed the fireworks and didn’t bother to use our video cameras. It was also a challenge to get through to the train station after the event but I guess, it’s a nightmare to drive a car to such a big event. Watch the video below.
